Although all the babies were asleep at the start of the meal, seen here from outside the restaurant, everyone woke up in time to enjoy the tasty pies.
You might call pizza on your first birthday a family tradition for us. There's a story that says Carmen was fed pepperoni pizza on her first birthday by her dad which caused her mom to panic. Pizza evidently wasn't something you fed babies in the 1970's. :)
